This page highlights, in plain language, important disclaimers that apply to the MeadowLantern platform, websites, and apps. It is a summary for convenience only. It does not modify or replace our Terms of Service, which govern in full, or our Privacy Policy.
We’re software, not your real estate professional
MeadowLantern LLC is a software company. We are not a real estate broker or agent, we are not a party to any real estate transaction, and nothing on the platform is real estate, legal, financial, tax, or inspection advice from us. Content in a client app (journey guidance, step explanations, notes, schedules) is provided by or configured under the direction of the real estate team serving that client, and that team is responsible for it. For legal, financial, tax, or inspection questions, consult your own qualified professionals: attorneys, accountants, lenders, inspectors, and other licensed practitioners.
Agent-branded doesn’t mean agent-built
Apps and pages on the platform may carry a real estate team’s brand. The underlying software is built, hosted, and operated by MeadowLantern. The team controls the content; we provide the platform.
Vendor listings are not endorsements
Vendors appearing on the platform (whether recommended by a real estate team or listed in the MeadowLantern marketplace) are independent businesses. Some marketplace placements are paid advertising, and some links may be affiliate links, meaning MeadowLantern may earn a fee if you make a purchase through them. Neither paid placement, a team’s recommendation, nor a marketplace listing is an endorsement or a guarantee of any vendor’s licensing, insurance, pricing, or quality of work. Your relationship with a vendor is yours alone; verify licensing and insurance where it matters to you.
The agent directory is not a referral service
Where a directory of participating agents is offered to clients whose prior agent relationship has ended, MeadowLantern receives no compensation for any introduction, is not a party to any relationship formed, and does not endorse or vouch for any listed agent.
Reviews are opinions
Reviews and testimonials on the platform reflect the personal opinions and experiences of the individuals who wrote them. They are not verified claims, predictions, or promises of any outcome, and past results do not guarantee future ones.
Information accuracy
Transaction details, schedules, statuses, and other content on the platform are entered by real estate teams and users. We do not independently verify this information and are not responsible for its accuracy or completeness. Where documents appear, they are typically links to files stored on third-party services we do not control.
Security is shared
We maintain safeguards designed to protect information on the platform. You are responsible for the security of your own devices, sign-in methods, and credentials, and for any information you export, link, or share outside the platform. No system is perfectly secure, and no guarantee of absolute security is made.
No guarantee of results
We do not guarantee that using the platform will produce any particular business result: listings won, transactions closed, referrals earned, reviews received, or time saved. The platform is provided “as is” and “as available,” as set out in the Terms of Service.
